وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَعَثَنِي بِتَمَامِ مَكَارِمِ الْأَخْلَاقِ وَكَمَالِ مَحَاسِنِ الْأَفْعَالِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْقُرَشِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has sent me with the completion of noble character and the perfection of excellent deeds."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Umar bin Ibrahim al-Qurashi, who is da'if (weak).
