وَعَنْ عَوْسَجَةَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بَالَ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ . وَعَوْسَجَةُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ لَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ إِلَّا أَنَّ الذَّهَبِيَّ قَالَ : عَوْسَجَةُ بْنُ أَقْرَمَ ، رَوَى عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ . حَدِيثَهُ فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ لَمْ يَصِحَّ - قَالَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ .

Awsajah bin Muslim narrates that his father said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); after urinating, he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. I have not found anyone who mentions Awsajah bin Muslim, except that al-Dhahabi stated: This is Awsajah bin Aqram, who narrated from Yahya bin Awsajah; the hadith he transmitted is about wiping over the leather socks, and it is not sound. This was said by al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him).
