وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَمُرَةَ - أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو بِلَالٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ ، ضَعَّفَهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ .

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped over the leather socks.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Abu Bilal al-Ash'ari, whom al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) declared "da'if" (weak).
