وَعَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - تَوَضَّأَ ، فَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ .

Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks and his head-covering.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy.
