عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " مَنْ رَبَّى صَغِيرًا حَتَّى يَقُولَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، لَمْ يُحَاسِبْهُ اللَّهُ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الشَّاذَكُونِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) relates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever brings up a small child until he becomes able to say La ilaha illallah (there is no god but Allah), Allah Almighty will not hold that person to account."
Imam Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Sulayman bin Dawud al-Shadhakuni, and he is da'if (weak).
