وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً دَخَلَتْ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ وَمَعَهَا بِنْتَانِ لَهَا ، قَالَ : فَأَعْطَتْهَا عَائِشَةُ ثَلَاثَ تَمَرَاتٍ ، فَأَعْطَتْ كُلَّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا تَمْرَةً ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَتْ تَمْرَةً لِتَضَعَهَا فِي فَمِهَا ، قَالَ : فَنَظَرَ الصَّبِيَّانِ إِلَيْهَا ، قَالَ : فَصَدَعَتْهَا نِصْفَيْنِ فَأَعْطَتْ كُلَّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا نِصْفًا ، وَخَرَجَتْ ، فَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَحَدَّثَتْهُ عَائِشَةُ بِمَا فَعَلَتْ - أَوْ تَفْعَلُ - الْمَرْأَةُ ، قَالَ : " فَلَقَدْ دَخَلَتْ بِذَلِكَ الْجَنَّةَ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ ، وَذَكَرَهُ الْمِزِّيُّ فِي تَرْجَمَةِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْفَرَاهِيدِيِّ الرَّاوِي عَنْهُ ، فَقَالَ : عُبَيْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ أَخُو مُبَارَكِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ . قُلْتُ : وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that a woman came to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and her two daughters were with her. The narrator relates: Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) gave her three dates. She gave each of her two daughters one date, then she took the third date and was about to put it in her mouth, and the two girls were looking at her. She split that date into two halves and gave each of them half a date, then she left. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came home, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) told the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about that woman's conduct, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That woman will enter Paradise because of it."
Imam Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ubaydullah bin Fadalah, whom Imam al-Mizzi mentioned in the biography of Muslim bin Ibrahim al-Farahidi, the one who narrates from him; he says: "Ubayd al-Rahman bin Fadalah, the brother of Mubarak bin Fadalah." I say: I do not know him, and the remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
