Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has three daughters whom he shelters, shows mercy to and provides for, Paradise becomes definitely binding for him." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah! What if there are two?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even if there are two, the same applies." The narrator says: Those present thought that if the man had asked, 'What if there is one?', the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would have said, 'Even if there is one (the same reward will be gained).'
Imam Ahmad, Imam Bazzar, and Imam Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded something similar, and added the words: "and he gets them married." It is narrated through various routes, and the chain of Imam Ahmad is jayyid (good).
