Doing good to those who are distant
Majma al-Zawaid 13476 — Doing good to those who are distant
عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ قَالَ لِي : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " يَا عَمِّ ، وَلَدُكَ قَوْمٌ لُجَجٌ وَخَيْرُهُمْ لِلْأَبْعَدِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مَجَاهِيلُ ، وَلَا يَصِحُّ .
Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O uncle, your children are open-hearted people, and they are better (than all people) towards the one who is distant."
