بَابٌ فِيمَنْ سَأَلَ قَرِيبَهُ فَضْلًا فَبَخِلَ عَلَيْهِ
One who asks his relative for something extra and he is miserly towards him

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَتَاهُ ابْنُ عَمِّهِ يَسْأَلُهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ فَمَنَعَهُ ، مَنَعَهُ اللَّهُ فَضْلَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " . قُلْتُ : فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَهُوَ فِي الْبُيُوعِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقِرْدَوْسِيُّ ، ضَعَّفَهُ الْأَزْدِيُّ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any man whose paternal cousin comes to him asking him for something of his surplus, and he refuses him, Allah Almighty will withhold His bounty from him (the one who refused) on the Day of Resurrection." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Then the narrator mentioned the complete hadith, which has already been given in the Book of Sales.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin al-Hasan al-Qirdawsi, whom al-Azdi declared da'if (weak) because of this hadith.
