وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ جُوَيْرِيَةَ قَالَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَعْتِقَ هَذَا الْغُلَامَ . قَالَ : " أَعْطِهِ خَالَكِ الَّذِي فِي الْأَعْرَابِ يَرْعَى عَلَيْهِ ; فَإِنَّهُ أَعْظَمُ لِأَجْرِكِ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Sayyidah Juwayriyah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "I want to free this slave." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Give him to your maternal uncle who lives among the Bedouins; he will do his work for him. That will bring you a greater reward."
