وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " طَاعَةُ اللَّهِ طَاعَةُ الْوَالِدِ ، وَمَعْصِيَةُ اللَّهِ مَعْصِيَةُ الْوَالِدِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ عَنْ شَيْخِهِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ وَهُوَ لَيِّنٌ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيِّ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَغَيْرُهُ وَضَعَّفَهُ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Obedience to Allah Almighty lies in obedience to the father, and disobedience to Allah Almighty lies in disobedience to the father."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat from his teacher Ahmad bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Kaysan, who is layyin (soft, weak); he narrated it from Isma'il bin Amr al-Bajali, whom Ibn Hibban and others declared trustworthy, while Abu Hatim and others declared him da'if (weak). The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
