وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : إِنَّ الْعَرْشَ مُطَوَّقٌ بِحَيَّةٍ ، وَإِنَّ الْوَحْيَ لِيَنْزِلُ فِي السَّلَاسِلِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، غَيْرَ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Throne is encircled by a serpent, and the revelation descends in chains.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Kathir bin Abi Kathir, who is thiqah (trustworthy).
