وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أُذِنَ لِي أَنْ أُحَدِّثَ عَنْ مَلَكٍ قَدْ مَرَقَتْ رِجْلَاهُ الْأَرْضَ السَّابِعَةَ ، وَالْعَرْشُ عَلَى مَنْكِبِهِ ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : سُبْحَانَكَ أَيْنَ كُنْتَ وَأَيْنَ تَكُونُ " . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ . وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَتْ أَحَادِيثُ نَحْوَ هَذَا فِي الْإِيمَانِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been given permission to tell you about an angel whose feet are in the seventh earth and the Throne is upon his shoulder, and he says: You are free of every defect; where were You, and where will You be!"
