Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13319

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted us every poem of the days of ignorance (to recite or hear), except two odes of al-A'sha, which he did not permit; the narrator claimed that in both odes that man had committed shirk (associating partners with Allah).
