بَابُ تَرْكِ الْوُضُوءِ مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ .
Not performing ablution after eating what has been touched by fire

وَعَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مَرَّ بِهِ وَفِي يَدِهِ عَرْقٌ يَتَعَرَّقُ مِنْهُ . قَالَ : فَتَنَاوَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَنَهَشَ مِنْهُ نَهْشَةً أَوْ نَهْشَتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ مُدَلِّسٌ وَلَكِنَّهُ عَنْعَنَهُ .

Sayyiduna Imam al-Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by him while he had meat on the bone in his hand, from which he was eating. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took it and ate from it once or twice, then he prayed without performing ablution again.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this report in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Ishaq, who is thiqah (trustworthy) but a mudallis (one who obscures his source), and
he narrated this report with 'an'anah (using the word "from").
