بَابُ أَوْكُوا الْأَسْقِيَةَ وَأَجِيفُوا الْأَبْوَابَ
Tie up the waterskins and close the doors

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ خَلْقًا يَبُثُّهُمْ تَحْتَ اللَّيْلِ كَيْفَ شَاءَ ، فَأَوْكِئُوا السِّقَاءَ ، وَأَغْلِقُوا الْأَبْوَابَ ، وَغَطُّوا الْإِنَاءَ ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَفْتَحُ بَابًا وَلَا يَكْشِفُ غِطَاءً وَلَا يَحُلُّ وِكَاءً " . قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ بِاخْتِصَارٍ . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty has a creation which He spreads out when night falls, as He wills. So tie up the mouths of the waterskins, close the doors and cover the vessels, for it (any member of that creation) cannot open a door, cannot remove a cover from anything covered, and cannot untie the mouth of a tied waterskin." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
