Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13158

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever intends to do something and then consults a Muslim about it, Allah Almighty will guide him to the most correct of his affairs."
This narration was recorded by Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Amr bin al-Husayn al-Uqayli, who is matruk (abandoned).
