عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا خَابَ مَنِ اسْتَخَارَ ، وَلَا نَدِمَ مَنِ اسْتَشَارَ ، وَلَا عَالَ مَنِ اقْتَصَدَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالصَّغِيرِ مِنْ طَرِيقِ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْقُدُّوسِ وَكِلَاهُمَا ضَعِيفٌ جِدًّا .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who seeks guidance (istikharah) is not disappointed, the one who seeks counsel does not regret, and the one who is moderate (in spending) does not become poor."
This narration was recorded by Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir, through Abd al-Salam bin Abd al-Quddus, and both of them are extremely da'if (weak).
