وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ الْغِيبَةِ وَعَنْ الِاسْتِمَاعِ إِلَى الْغِيبَةِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from backbiting and from listening to backbiting.
