بَابُ لَا فَضْلَ لِأَحَدٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِالتَّقْوَى
No one has superiority over another except by piety
Majma al-Zawaid 13080 — No one has superiority over another
وَعَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ خِرَاشٍ الْعَصْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ :
" الْمُسْلِمُونَ أُخْوَةٌ ، لَا فَضْلَ لِأَحَدٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِالتَّقْوَى " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَبَلَةَ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Habib bin Khirash al-Asri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The Muslims are brothers; no one has superiority over anyone else except through taqwa."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Hamid bin Amr bin Jabalah, and he is matruk (abandoned).
