Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13017

Sayyiduna Qays bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The worst form of usury (riba) is that a man goes to great lengths in reviling his brother; and the greatest of the major sins is that a man reviles his own parents." The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! How could he revile them?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He reviles another man's parents, and the other reviles his parents in return."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Tahir bin Khalid bin Nizar, who is thiqah (trustworthy), though there is some weakness in him.
