Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12961

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "On the night of the middle of Sha'ban, Allah Almighty turns His attention to His creation and forgives His servants, except for two kinds of people: the one who holds enmity (or resentment) and the one who kills a person."
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, who is layyin al-hadith (weak in hadith). The rest of its narrators have been declared trustworthy.
