وَعَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ :
" يَطَّلِعُ اللَّهُ إِلَى عِبَادِهِ لَيْلَةَ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ ، فَيَغْفِرُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَيُمْهِلُ الْكَافِرِينَ ، وَيَدَعُ أَهْلَ الْحِقْدِ لِحِقْدِهِمْ حَتَّى يَدْعُوهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْأَحْوَصُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Tha'labah al-Khushani (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "On the night of the middle of Sha'ban, Allah Almighty turns His attention to His servants and forgives all the believers, and gives respite to the disbelievers, but He leaves the people who hold resentment against one another until they give up that resentment."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains al-Ahwas bin Hakim, who is da'if (weak).
