وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَتَغُضُّنَّ أَبْصَارَكُمْ ، وَلَتَحْفَظُنَّ فُرُوجَكُمْ ، وَلَتُقِيمُنَّ وُجُوهَكُمْ ، أَوْ لَتَكْشِفُنَّ وُجُوهَكُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْأَلْهَانِيُّ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "So lower your gazes, guard your private parts and keep your faces straight (the narrator is in doubt, or perhaps the words are:) keep your faces uncovered."
