Majma al-Zawaid 12923 — Reports on sitting, its manner and the best

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah bin Tha'labah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to sit in the qurfusa' posture (squatting with the knees drawn up).
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Muhammad bin Umar al-Waqidi, who is da'if (weak).
