Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12865

Sayyidah al-Jahdamah (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of Sayyiduna Bashir bin al-Khasasiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), narrates: The name of Sayyiduna Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) was previously Zaham, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) named him Bashir.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Abu Janab, who is a mudallis (one who conceals defects in his chain). The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
