بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي اسْمِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَكُنْيَتِهِ
Reports on the name of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his kunyah

وَعَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" مَنْ تَسَمَّى بِاسْمِي فَلَا يَكْتَنِي بِكُنْيَتِي " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Humayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is named with my name should not take my kunyah as his kunyah."
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Abu Bakr bin Abi Sabrah, who is matruk (abandoned).
