Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12823

A man narrates: We sought permission to enter upon Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) after the dawn prayer, and he gave us permission. He threw a sheet over his wife and said: "I did not like to keep you waiting (or to keep you from coming in)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, and I do not know that man. The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
