بَابٌ فِي الِاسْتِئْذَانِ وَفِيمَنِ اطَّلَعَ فِي دَارٍ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنٍ
Seeking permission, and one who looks into a house without permission
Majma al-Zawaid 12818 — Seeking permission, and one who looks
وَعَنْ سَفِينَةَ قَالَ : كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَجَاءَ عَلِيٌّ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - يَسْتَأْذِنُ ، فَدَقَّ الْبَابَ دَقًّا خَفِيفًا ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" يَا سَفِينَةُ ، افْتَحْ لَهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
" يَا سَفِينَةُ ، افْتَحْ لَهُ " .

Sayyiduna Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came. Seeking permission, he knocked gently on the door. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Safinah, open the door for him."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Dirar bin Surad, who is da'if (weak).
