Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12803

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man peeped into the house of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a stick in his hand. He said: "Had I known that you were looking at me, I would have poked this into your eye." The narrator says: or he said words similar to this.
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Suwayd bin Ibrahim Abu Hatim, who is da'if (weak), though he has also been declared trustworthy.
