وَعَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ :
مَشَى مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشِّرْكِ ، فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ بَابَ الْقَصْرِ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ تَمِيمَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ .

Tamim bin Salamah narrates: Some people from among the polytheists were walking along with Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him). When he reached the gate of the palace, he greeted them with salam.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except that the narrator Tamim bin Salamah did not live in the time of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).
