Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1279

Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A man was coming to pray when his wife came before him, and he took hold of her. He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned this to him, and he did not forbid him (that is, he did not forbid him from praying without renewing his ablution).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Layth bin Abi Sulaym, who is a mudallis.
