وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا ، وَلَا تُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّى تَحَابُّوا ، أَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ إِذَا فَعَلْتُمُوهُ تَحَابَبْتُمْ ؟ إِفْشَاءُ السَّلَامِ بَيْنَكُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَطَاءُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَطَاءُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I not guide you to something which, when you do it, you will love one another? Spread the greeting of peace (salam) among yourselves (or: that deed is spreading the salam among yourselves)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Ata' bin Muslim, who is thiqah (trustworthy), though there is weakness in him. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
