بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي السَّلَامِ وَإِفْشَائِهِ وَفَضْلِهِ

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ السَّلَامَ اسْمٌ مِنْ أَسْمَاءِ اللَّهِ فَأَفْشُوهُ بَيْنَكُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ بِشْرُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Salam is one of the names of Allah Almighty, so spread it among yourselves."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Bishr bin Rafi', who is da'if (weak).
