Majma al-Zawaid 12706 — Reports on modesty and the prohibition

Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Modesty is part of faith, and faith is in Paradise; foul speech (or shamelessness) is part of harshness, and harshness is in the Fire."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Muhammad bin Musa bin Abi Nu'aym, whom Abu Hatim and a group declared trustworthy, while Yahya bin Ma'in called him a liar. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
