Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12581

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The first of the signs is the rising of the sun from the west."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Fadalah bin Jubayr, who is da'if (weak), and this hadith has been declared munkar (denounced).
