وَعَنْ أَبِي صَادِقٍ قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ : إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ أَهْلَ أَبْيَاتٍ يُفْزِعُهُمُ الدَّجَّالُ . قَالُوا : مَنْ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ؟ قَالَ : بُيُوتُ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ أَبَا صَادِقٍ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ .
Abu Sadiq narrates that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I know the people of some households whom the Dajjal will terrify." The people asked: "O Abu Abd al-Rahman! Who will they be?" He replied: "They will be the people of Kufah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), except that the narrator Abu Sadiq did not meet Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).
