Urwah bin al-Zubayr narrates that Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: One night I thought about the Dajjal and could not sleep. In the morning I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him about it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not do that. If he emerges while I am among you, Allah, my Lord, will suffice you; and if he emerges after I die, Allah Almighty will help you against him through the righteous." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up (to deliver a sermon), mentioned the Dajjal and said: "Every prophet urged his Ummah to beware of him, and I too urge you to beware of him. He will be one-eyed, and Allah Almighty is not one-eyed. Beware! One eye of the Dajjal will be like a swollen grape."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), except al-Tabarani's teacher Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Nafi' al-Tahhan, whom I do not know.
