Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundab (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Dajjal will certainly emerge, and he will be blind in the left eye, over which there will be a thick layer. He will cure the one born blind and the one with vitiligo, and he will give life to the dead, and he will say to the people: 'I am your Lord.' Whoever says: 'You are my Lord,' will fall into trial; and whoever says: 'My Lord is Allah Almighty,' and remains firm upon that until he dies, will be protected from the trial of the Dajjal, and no trial will befall him. The Dajjal will remain on the earth for as long as Allah wills. Then Sayyiduna Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon him) will come out from the direction of the west, confirming Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). He will kill the Dajjal, and then (after that) the Hour will come."
Al-Tabarani and Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih;
al-Bazzar recorded it with a da'if (weak) chain.
