Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12497

Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are three things; whoever is saved from them is saved: whoever is saved at the time of the killing of a believer has been saved; whoever is saved at the time of the killing of a caliph who is being killed wrongfully, while that caliph is patient and gives what is due from himself, such a person too will be saved; and whoever is saved from the tribulation of the Dajjal has also been saved."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim bin Yazid al-Misri, and I do not know him. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
