Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12496

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Hawalah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever is saved from three things has been saved." He said this three times, and then said: "My death, the Dajjal, and the killing of a caliph who stands firm upon the truth and gives (it)."
Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. The narrators of Imam Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Rabi'ah bin Laqit, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
