بَابٌ فِيمَا قَبْلَ الدَّجَّالِ وَمَنْ نَجَا مِنْهُ نَجَا .

عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : ذَكَرْنَا الدَّجَّالَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَهُوَ نَائِمٌ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ مُحْمَرًّا لَوْنُهُ ، فَقَالَ : " غَيْرُ ذَلِكَ أَخْوَفُ لِي عَلَيْكُمْ " . ذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ جَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) relates about the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "We were mentioning the Dajjal in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was asleep. When he woke up, his colour had turned red, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Rather than that, I fear something else more for you.' After that he mentioned a word."
Imam Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Jabir al-Ju'fi, and he is da'if (weak).
