وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِبْلٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَا يَذْهَبُ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ حَتَّى يُوجَدَ النَّعْلُ فِي الْقُمَامَةِ فَيُقَالُ : كَأَنَّهَا نَعْلُ قُرَشِيٍّ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ يُسَمَّ وَمَنْ ضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ .

Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Shibl (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Night and day will not come to an end until a sandal is found in the rubbish and it is said: 'This looks like the sandal of a man of Quraysh.'"
