Majma al-Zawaid 12321 — One who kills a Muslim or orders his killing

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has divided the Fire into seventy parts: sixty-nine parts will be for the one who gives the order and one part will be for the killer, and that will be sufficient for him."
Al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir; its chain contains al-Husayn bin al-Hasan bin Atiyyah, who is da'if (weak).
