بَابٌ فِيمَنْ رَمَانَا بِاللَّيْلِ .
One who shoots at us by night

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ رَمَانَا بِاللَّيْلِ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ بِإِسْنَادِ الَّذِي قَبْلَهُ . وَالظَّاهِرُ أَنَّ اللَّيْلَ هُنَا النَّبْلُ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever shoots arrows at us by night is not one of us."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat with the chain of the preceding narration. It appears that here "al-layl" (night) is (in place of the correct word) "al-nabl" (arrows).
