Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever shoots arrows at us by night is not one of us. And whoever sleeps on a roof that has no raised edges, then falls and dies, his blood goes unavenged."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Yazid bin Iyad, who is matruk (abandoned).

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever shoots arrows at us by night is not one of us."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat with the chain of the preceding narration. It appears that here "al-layl" (night) is (in place of the correct word) "al-nabl" (arrows).
