وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ مَنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَذَكَرَهُ . قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ نَفْسِهِ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
A narration from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him), from a man, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), also mentions something similar. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: That narration is in the Sahih as a hadith narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) himself.
