Sayyiduna Abu Umamah al-Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The rope of Islam will keep breaking; whenever one part breaks, the people will cling firmly to the one after it. The first of them to decline will be judicial ruling, and the last of them in which there will be neglect will be the prayer."
Ahmad recorded it and al-Tabarani recorded it, and the narrators of both are the narrators of the Sahih. In the original the wording is: it is narrated from Habib bin Sulayman from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him), whereas the correct name of the narrator is Sulayman bin Habib al-Muharibi; he narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Abd al-Aziz bin Isma'il bin Ubaydullah narrated from him.
