Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: One day, while we were with him, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Glad tidings to the strangers." It was asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Who will the strangers be?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Righteous people who will be among many evil people, and those who disobey them will be more than those who obey them."
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat with the words: "People who are righteous and few." Its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, and there is weakness in him.
