وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي قَوْمًا يُعْطَوْنَ مِثْلَ أُجُورِ أَوَّلِهِمْ يُنْكِرُونَ الْمُنْكَرَ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Abd al-Rahman bin al-Hadrami narrates: I was told by someone who heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There will be people in my Ummah who will be given a reward like the reward of the first people of this Ummah; they will be people who stop the evil."
Ahmad recorded it; I do not know the narrator Abd al-Rahman, and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
